The handsome building of Fawley Court stands on a site that has been occupied for over a thousand years. The name "Fawley" comes from the Old English word for fallow deer, great herds of which once roamed this countryside. Since 1952 Fawley Court belongs to Polish Congregation of Marian Fathers.

At present Fawley Court hosts:

* Religious House of the Marian Fathers – community of the priest and brothers.
* Religious House of the Sisters from the Congregation of the Sacred Name of Jesus who help in the Centre in various capacities
* Retreat and Conference Centre
* The Divine Mercy Apostolate which is engaged in spreading devotion to Divine Mercy by publishinga quarterly magazine " Messenger of the Divine Mercy", sale of books and religious articles and correspondence.
* Marian Helpers Association
* St. Ann’s Church and St Joseph’s Chapel where the pastoral care is served for Polish and English Catholics.

Important dates from Fawley Court history:

Doomsday Book - Fawley Court mentioned for the first time, as being owned by Walter Gifford, brother-in-law of William I.
1470 - Fawley Court passes in marriage on Thomas Rokes.
1616 - Fawley Court is sold to Sir James Whitelock.
CIVIL WAR - fights between Parliamentarians and Royalists.
1670's - Fawley Court is sold to Col. William Freeman.
1684 - current house has been completed, the park is decorated with ancient statues.
1770's - redecoration of interiors by James Wyatt and new design of the park by Lancelot "Capability" Brown.
1853 - Fawley Court sold to Edward Mackenzie.
WORLD WAR II - Fawley Court serves as a training place for special troops.
1952 - Mckenzies family organize an auction and sell most of the content of the house.
1953 - The estate is bought by Marian Fathers, who start to run Divine Mercy College for children of Polish refugees, alongside the school the Polish museum is being organized.
1970's - St' Anne's church is being funded by Prince Radziwill and built in the grounds.
1986 - due to small number of students Marian Fathers close the school down.
